Spectacular Vintage Diamond and drop South Sea Pearl earrings

A captivating pair of 18ct white gold elaborate drop earrings, crafted with graceful movement and a distinctly romantic, scroll-like silhouette. The tops feature scrolled foliate motifs, where brilliant-cut diamonds sit in wine-glass style collets (a raised, open-sided collet that lets light in from the sides), scattered across the diamond-set swirls. Fine grain (bead) setting adds a soft, antique-style shimmer, with additional diamonds secured in neat micro-claw settings along the articulated rectangular links.

The longer drops finish in an articulated, railed four-claw coronet set with a brilliant diamond, flowing into pavé-set bell caps that sparkle with a dense field of single-cut diamonds—an elegant “diamond snowfall” effect that frames the pearls beautifully. Suspended below, each white cultured South Sea pearl (approx. 12 x 11.5 mm) glows with a good lustre, with slight natural surface blemishing visible on close inspection.

Estimated total diamond weight 1.60 carats, in the H–I/J colour range with SI–P clarity characteristics. Post and hinged clip fittings provide a secure, comfortable wear. Total weight of the pair approximately 14.8 grams.
