An elegant study in colour, light and line, this handmade Art Deco style ring made by Gold and Silversmith Justine Austen pairs a serene aquamarine with the crisp geometry of stepped baguette diamonds. A pierced platinum basket with stylised scrollwork rises above the warmth of an 18ct yellow gold band, giving the design a beautifully poised, architectural presence.
The centre is an approximately 9.4 × 6.8 mm octagonal emerald cut aquamarine of 1.63 carats, described as light in hue, bright and eye-clean. It is secured by four clip-style corner claws in the pierced platinum basket.
The shoulders are rim set in millegrain-edged mounts with four baguette cut diamonds. Two measure approximately 4.6 × 2.0 mm and have a combined weight of 0.34 carat; two measure approximately 2.6 × 1.2 mm and have a combined weight of 0.10 carat. The diamonds are graded in the mount as F–G colour and VS clarity. The half-round yellow gold band measures 2.3 mm wide. The ring weighs 6.3 grams and is size M.
The ring can be resized up or down five sizes.
